The Leadership & Career Conference is a free program for DeSoto Middle School students designed to provide exposure to a variety of leadership, education, and careers. Students go on field trips, tour colleges and technical schools, complete an art and literacy project, and enjoy hands on experience in careers such as banking, STEM, agriculture, healthcare and more!

This camp is FREE for DeSoto students thanks to our community partners.  Students to spend a week visiting different businesses/organizations in hands-on, project based learning experiences that further develop their passion for leadership and learning.  Transportation to sites (not including pick up and drop off each day to South Florida State College), food, supplies, and all materials used are provided.
